Process inks only have four colors and dot shapes to try to achieve the myriad of colors that Pantone has to offer. Everything you use to create your project is also needed by the printer. This includes document, images, eps files, all fonts (printer and screen fonts), etc. If all support files are organized, it will save you time and money in the long run. Designers often submit printed copy of the file window that lists all files, photos etc. We request a customer supplied (hard copy) or low resolution pdf proof or fax when submitting your job/files. This assures that we are working with the correct file and can prevent costly reruns. One time saver would be to send a high resolution PDF file. Remember to "pull the bleeds" when creating a high resolution PDF.
